The Studebaker Avanti automobile was designed in the early 1960's for Studebaker by Raymond Loewy and was sold for the model years 1963-1964. A little over 4000 cars were delivered during that time. 

 

Most people are not aware that the Avanti lived on after Studebaker went out of business. The car was produced by follow-on companies until 2007!

 

It has a long and interesting history and is kind of a legend till this day.
